A brilliant Rosé for parties, fun and fruity with lashings of red fruit flavour! Organic - OVegan - VE
Producer introduction
Half way between Valdepenas and Valencia is the city of Socuéllamos, just oustside of Socuéllamos are the vineyards of E.H.D This organic winery and vineyard was founded in 1998 by the Delgado Brothers and the grapes are Sohiscert and Ecocert certified. The vineyards stretch over 200 ha, 100 ha of white (Airen, Moscatel and Sauvignon) and 100 ha of red (Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Tempranillo and Merlot).  The superbly equipped winery is conveniently located in the middle of the vineyards saving valuable time between picking and pressing and so reducing the reliance on sulphur so common round here

Tasting Notes

The Tempranillo grapes at EHD are machine harvested, which personally I’m not a fan of, however down in La Mancha the temperatures at harvest can be very high. To prevent the grapes spoiling, the fastest way to get them picked and into the winery is the machine harvester.   That’s why this Rosado is so clean and fresh, with good crisp berry fruit flavours. Enjoy!

The wine has a pretty pink colour, not too heavy. The flavour is typical grenache: juicy and full of red fruit flavour. This is dry, with a smidgen of residual sugar.
