Entre Deux Mers, Château la Blanquerie

A very approachable and affordable classic, grassy, zingy sauvignon that is backed up by the dry semillon giving the wine real substance and structure.

Producer introduction
Serge Rougier put the estate into Organic Farming in 1986 and has been reaping the rewards ever since. His wines are very traditional and in the case of the red a little rustic. The white and cremant that we currently stock have plenty of clean fruit and perosnality and make for good value drinking.

Tasting Notes
This refreshing white should never be far from your fridge, ideal for everyday glugging and a great partner to simply grilled fish or gutsy salads. No strangers to natural farming Serge Rougier has managed the estate organically since 1986. The Natural vitality of the vines ensure impeccable fruit in even more difficult years although 2008 was very hard. Alongside the white is also a very accomplished Claret and the crowd pleasing pink Cremant.
