Made entirely from the native Tempranillo this fully certified red is a no nonsense wine that will never fail to give pleasure, especially when you remember how little you paid for it !
Producer introduction
Half way between Valdepenas and Valencia is the city of Socuéllamos, just oustside of Socuéllamos are the vineyards of E.H.D This organic winery and vineyard was founded in 1998 by the Delgado Brothers and the grapes are Sohiscert and Ecocert certified. The vineyards stretch over 200 ha, 100 ha of white (Airen, Moscatel and Sauvignon) and 100 ha of red (Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Tempranillo and Merlot). The superbly equipped winery is conveniently located in the middle of the vineyards saving valuable time between picking and pressing and so reducing the reliance on sulphur so common round here
