Thick set George makes big, masculine wines from his various prime plots in Morgon and Brouilly. They are extremely natural and pure (no added sulphur) but he definitely aims for darker, more extracted wines. This Brouilly is quite wonderfully powerful but still easy to drink. Not for wallflowers!
