The land round this beautiful old flour mill was converted to a vineyard in the 1950’s. These now old Grenache and Syrah vines have been certified organic since 1998. The specific pebbly ‘terroir’ or soil at the property soaks up the sun during the day and provides a form of storage heating for the vines overnight; perfect to ripen the grapes. These are vinified for 12-15 days in temperature controlled vats, then matured for 6-12 months. The wine is rich, dark and full-bodied brimming with cassis and raisin fruit and spice and is the perfect accompaniment to any hearty dish.
