3 Blanco (Airén, Verdejo, Chardonnay), Tierra de Castilla
An unusual blend that gives a refreshing yet exceptionally rounded wine. The 'Trilogoca' white is floral on the nose a trait which belies it's crisp nature. Marvellous on it's own, but even better matched to a light lunch or starter. This may be a bit different but really deserves to be investigated.
Alcamo Bianco DOC, Adamo, Sicily
Alcamo is made from the indigenous grapes Catarrato and lesser known Grillo, when first opened it is quite steely and dry with a little time and air the fruit becomes much more open reminiscent of whites peaches and some floral notes too. A great outdoors summer wine: perfect with barbequed chicken.
Macatela Blanco, Tierra de Castilla
Made from Airen, native to Castilla, the Delgado brothers have here created a light refreshing, citrusy white with hints of cucumber from a grape that is sadly often underated.

Airen Blanco, 'Yemanueva', Bodega la Tercia, La Mancha, Spain
Extraordinarily fresh, rich wine that is a complete joy to drink ; coating the mouth in a manner reminiscent of the 'Yemanueva' or egg yolks that it's named after !

This unusual blend of grapes results in a dry and yet aromatic wine that is a perfect math to any seafood. Whilst it's crisp and clean qualities make it an eminently quaffable drop that represents superb value for money.
