3 Blanco (Airén, Verdejo, Chardonnay), Tierra de Castilla
The white has a lightly floral nose coming from the perfumed verdejo grape, the palate is crisp and dry and lightly flavoured. A very crisp and refreshing white.
Alcamo Bianco DOC, Adamo, Sicily
Alcamo is made from the indigenous grapes Catarrato and lesser known Grillo, when first opened it is quite steely and dry with a little time and air the fruit becomes much more open reminiscent of whites peaches and some floral notes too. A great outdoors summer wine: perfect with barbequed chicken.
Camino Los Robles - Airen
This Airén has been cool fermented to make a crisp, fresh white with clean melon and citrus flavours. Low yields ensure there's more here than meets the eye.
Macatela Blanco, Tierra de Castilla
Made from Airen, native to Castilla, the Delgado brothers have here created a light refreshing, citrusy white with hints of cucumber from a grape that is sadly often underated. This is largely due to the intensive methods that are generally employed in it's growth, an ethos that couldn't be further from that of this intriguing pair.

Chenin Blanc, Cape Haven,
Crisp and aromatic South African white. Full of lemony, passion fruit flavours. Delicouss drunk on it's own or a good match to oily fish and Aisian food. The Brink family's passion really shows through here. They have here made wine that stands head and shoulders above it's often average contemporaries.

This unusual blend of grapes results in a dry and yet aromatic wine that is a perfect math to any seafood. Whilst it's crisp and clean qualities make it an eminently quaffable drop that represents superb value for money.
