Pinotage, a grape variety unique to South Africa always gives big flavours and this is no exception. The attention to detail preset here however gives this wine a finesse which is sorely absent from many of it's mass produced cousins.

Lovely and soft, easy to drink wine. Full of ripe plum, spice and dried fruit flavours.
Chateau La Grolet - Cuvee Tradition (1/2 Bottle)
An elegant and non-conformist claret, with a lively, young spirit. The grape varieties from which it is made – 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet-Sauvignon – make this possible. The vines grow on the scarp slopes fully exposed to the south on clay/gravel soil.
Duras-Cabernet, Côtes de Tarn, Domaine Vigne Lourac
A blend of the less well known Duras grape and cabernet, the wine is dark and deeply flavoured with a spicy savoury edge.

From our star Gaillac producer both of these reds from Lourac are easy to love, soft tannins and well defined flavours. This the cab-merlot is light and succulent. (Not organic)
"Il Contadino", Floriano Mognon
A pretty, slightly spiced nose of cloves and sawn wood or smoke, this has a soft, quite light taste with easy tannins. If you close your eyes it'll take you somewhere a little different and off the beaten track, warm but not heavy. After a while an almost raisin character builds up. There's a lot going on here to keep you interested.
