The thoroughly modern packaging tells a tale of two halves at La Jara. The winery has been in the hands of the same family since 1891 and is currrently run by two brothers, Massimo and Paolo. Under their guidance the most up to date of methods have been applied to acheive what remain traditional values in their wine making. The masses of Prosecco and Pinot Grigio currently available is predominantly grown in the flat lands of Veneto, here in Piave however the soil has a far better drainage and a vastly superior mineral content leading to wines of true authenticity.The brothers have acheived organic certification, but are increasingly employing biodynamic methods.  More info
