Producer introduction
The Pizzolato's have been producing wine for five generations. They have been organic since 1991 but it’s only recently that there have been big strides forward in quality and the wines are now really spot on. With 50 hectares of their own and contracts for grapes from another 50 belonging to long-term local organic growers, they are a significant operation which looks to get better and better.

Tasting Notes
The extra dry isn’t really all that dry; they must have a bit of sweet tooth over at pizzolato! This is my favourite of their wines, the labels a bit ‘ferrari testarossa’ (aka naff) but its kind of kitsch and after all really what counts is inside. The bubbles are well knitted, the flavour is all primary fresh fruit and its really clean and drinkable. Whenever I taste it with my friends they love it!
